This assignment, Create A Logo That Is Simple But Detailed, is worth 4 stars and I used LogoMakr to create my logo.

Every morning, I make scrambled eggs and toast with jam on top. It is my staple breakfast and my go-to at any restaurant. Before COVID19, and farmers’ markets were open, I would always get excited to try out some new locally produced jam. Although, with everything going on in the world right now, I have not been able to get my jam-fix and the excitement I feel for helping out small businesses. So, my inspiration behind my logo came from my love of jam and my hope that I will be able to get some soon.

If I had the skills and resources, I truly would open my own jam shop. I think it is fun to try new flavors and flavor combinations because it gives me a little something to look forward to before I start my day. With that being said, the logo I created would be a good outline for the actual logo I would use if I had my own jam shop. I enjoy pastel colors and the welcoming feeling they bring into a design, so that is why I chose a light pink background for my logo. Also, I wanted simplicity and representation of the message I am conveying to my audience which is that I make jam. I think it is a clear cut design and portrays the look of my fictional business.

To make my logo, I made a tutorial video of how I did it that you can check out on my channel. Also, you could just watch the tutorial down below. Thanks for reading through my jam fascination!

    1. Thank you so much! My favorite kind of jam is raspberry and I especially like it on a pb&j 🙂

  1. Your logo is simple but pleasing to the eye. Having the text as white instead of black I think compliments the pastel background color well. The logo also has a “homegrown-organic” feel to it I think and if you did sell your own jam I definitely would buy some!

    1. Thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback and future business with my fake jam company 🙂
